The quest to achieve the best possible eco-efficiency has been a major preoccupation in the design of the 3008. Wind tunnel tests were conducted on the bodywork to optimise the air penetration index. It achieved a Cx of 0.296iFor the 16'' and 17'' versions.: a performance that influences a reduction in fuel consumption, and thus CO2 emissions.

The Peugeot 3008 boasts particularly low fuel consumption levels, and consequently CO2 emission levels.

TYRES

The Peugeot 3008 can be equipped with very low rolling resistance tyres, in 16‘’ and 17‘ versions, which reduce fuel consumption while boosting the level of grip. By reducing rolling resistance by almost 20 %, the tyres allow the quantity of energy required in order for the vehicle to function to be lowered.

PARTICLE FILTER

PARTICLE FILTER

HDi technology is linked to a particle filter, a high-performance anti-pollution system. A self-cleaning device, it processes the gas produced by the combustion of diesel in the engine. This equipment reduces the particle emissions of diesel engines to a measurable limit. This technology makes diesel engines more eco-friendly.
